On 20 October 2026, NABU and SAPO completed the pre-trial investigation into SSSCIP officials and private company representatives (5 suspects under Art. 191(5) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) over the embezzlement of UAH 254 million during procurements of DJI Mavic 3 (400 units), DJI Mavic 3T (500 units), DJI Mavic 3 Pro (2,000 units), DJI Matrice M30T (900 units), and Autel Evo Max 4T (1,300 units) at 60–90% above-market markups. Investigators documented that SSSCIP officials sent a price quotation request to the predetermined winning company days before that legal entity was even registered in the Unified State Register (USR). Over USD 4 million on foreign bank accounts and UAH 17 million in Ukraine were frozen.
